Karen..the plight of our economy has sent many to re-think everything they spend money on. At least I hope it is. When we say “our spending” we sometimes get the false impression we are referring to our “pleasure” purchases. However, we need to re-evaluate our electric usage, gas usage, insurances etc. (the mundane common paycheck busters) as well as our pleasure items; like vacations, new cars, lots of clothing, shoes etc. At every corner is lurking a “Potential Budget Thief” so we need to be on-guard as well as doing our part to tighten our spending by looking, reviewing and choosing what is best for us that will put some dollars back into our budgets. A dollar a day is still significant, it equals $352 a year….not bad. Just my .02 cents worth….
